Dr. Charles A. Feagin
Dr. Charles A. Feagin was born and raised in Enterprise, Alabama. It was always his desire to remain in the Tri-State area and establish a successful plastic surgery practice. After completing his education in 1983, Dr. Feagin’s dream became a reality when he opened up his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Practice in Dothan, Alabama in the summer of 1983.
Dr. Feagin began his education at the University of Alabama where he received a Baccalaureate of Science Degree in 1973. He continued at the University of Alabama where he received his Medical Degree in 1976. He pursued his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 1977 until 1983. In July of 1983 he completed his residency at the University of Utah. He passed his boards and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Feagin has been in practice for over 25 years. He was the first board certified plastic surgeon in the Tri-State area. He has extensive knowledge and experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. His expertise as a surgeon and his commitment to his patients have helped him create one of the most successful practices in Southeast Alabama.
Dr. William I. Owen
A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Dr. Owen attended undergraduate school at the University of Alabama. He received his medical degree at the University of Alabama, and then pursued his general surgery training at the University of Mississippi. He earned his general surgery certification in 1988.
An accomplished woodcarver, he was drawn to a surgical specialty that used these artistic skills in surgery. He trained in plastic surgery at the University of Alabama and received certifications in plastic surgery and hand surgery in 1990. He re-certified in both boards in 2003.
Dr. Owens’ practice is hospital based. His procedures are performed at Flowers Hospital and Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Both hospitals are JCAHO certified, with exceptional anesthesiologists and operating room personnel.
Dr. Owen joined Dr. Charles Feagin and has been in private practice in Dothan, Alabama since 1990. He welcomes you and considers it a privilege to be your plastic surgeon.
