Often people who need breast reductions have significant neck, shoulder, and back pain. The breast reduction will usually significantly improve the neck, shoulder, and back pain in addition to improving the cosmetic appearance of the breasts.

Breast Augmentation

This is a surgical procedure performed on women desiring fuller, shapelier breasts. The procedure can help patients achieve a more balanced, proportionate figure and often leads to improvements in self-image and self-confidence. Breast augmentations involves the surgical implantation of breast implants behind breast tissue or the pectoral muscle. Every breast augmentation procedure is tailored to meet the patient’s specific aesthetic needs. A breast augmentation will also help rejuvenate breasts that have lost their shape and size after child bearing. Breast Augmentations can be performed with saline implants or with silicone gel filled implants. Both types have been approved by the FDA. This procedure is performed as an outpatient. Revision Breast Augmentation

Dr. Feagin and Dr. Owen has extensive experience in revision breast augmentations. Many of the old silicone gel implants that are over 15 years old have leaked and have had to be replaced. In years past, many of the breast augmentations were place in the subglandular position rather than the submuscular position. Dr. Feagin and Owen have done hundreds of revision breast augmentations. This procedure requires removal of the leaking implants, cutting out of the scar tissue and then placing the implants under the muscle. Any of the old silicone gel implants over 15 years of age have already leaked or will soon be leaking. These implants need to be replaced before they leak liquid silicone gel into the breast tissue. Revision breast augmentations are much more difficult than primary breast augmentations and need to be done by surgeons with extensive experience in this area. View before & after photos

Abdominoplasty

This is a procedure designed to remove excessive skin and fat in the abdomen as well as tighten the upper and lower abdominal tissue. The abdominal muscles are often tightened. With pregnancy, the abdominal skin and the muscles are usually stretched. There are only a few fortunate girls whose skin and muscles tighten to the pre-pregnancy level. Abdominoplasties allow us to return the muscles and the skin to a pre-pregnancy level. Usually once an abdominplasty has been performed, the person will continue to have a tight abdomen the rest of their life. The procedure usually requires a one night stay in the hospital. This procedure usually requires one to two days in the hospital. View before & after photos

Often these people can be thin in other areas but have excessive fat in one or two areas of their body. This can be permanently removed with liposuction. Often this procedure can be combined with other areas of body contouring such as abdominoplasties and breast reductions. This is an outpatient procedure performed almost daily by Dr. Feagin and Dr. Owen. View before & after photos

Treatment of Facial Wrinkles and Sun Damaged Skin

There are several ways that we treat facial wrinkles and sun damaged skin. The simple ways are doing superficial peels, which are done in our office, and then also done by using RetinA and various topical products. Most plastic surgeons agree that the best skin care products are either Obagi or Biomedic.

The next most agressive level of treatment for aged facial skin is using the Fraxel laser. This laser procedure is done in office under a local anesthetic. The Fraxel laser is used for pigment irregularities of the skin along with the treatment of fine lines. The Fraxel laser also gives the surgeon the ability to signigicantly improve wrinkles and aged skin with the patient having to undergo a prolonged healing course. Usually makeup can be applied the next day after using a Fraxel laser.

For more severe wrinkles and various sun damaged skin, we recommend a CO2 laser. This is a laser that greatly improves significant sun damaged skin. This laser also helps people from getting actinic keratoses or basel cell carcinomas of their skin. During your consultation, we will evaluate your skin and discuss the best treatment options for you
